March 30th 2003 Sagami Depot SRTT with Don Helle!!

We all had a great day. I did not think you could have this much fun in a parking lot without steaming up windows....

Dave on his nice shinny, er, was nice and shinny 929 dropped it while getting on the gas too soon,
after bouncing off the curb the bike slid a ways on the left-hand case.
The case was badly scratched and there was a crack about 2 cm long and 1 mm wide.

Sorry I cannot remember your name, but I think this is the dude with the Gixxer 1000 or was it the guy on the Bros 650?

Dave dropped the 929

One Cracked side cover, no faring damage.....

So I went to "Do It" and got some epoxy putty stuff and a file to fix Dave's bike,
here I am dong my famous rat-faced fix-it imitation...

They don't look convinced that it can be fixed now do they...

Putty in place, now let's see if it works....

So far so good, looks like it will at least get him home, I don't know if Mr. Bowie is going to live...
