Use it for both modern and traditional quilts as well as for projects like pincushions or pennants. Have the tip of the side overlap 1/4 for seam allowance, and stitch together. The star quilt is made from material cut into rhombus, or diamond-shaped, pieces. But, I kept trying and kept learning, and I have figured out what works best for me. And I will be a follower/ wanna-be sometime this next year because I would like to make one with my leftover Christmas fabrics, too!
